About the calculation
The calculator is based on equations from the CIBSE Applications Manual – AM10: Natural Ventilation in non-domestic buildings. This Applications Manual is referred to in e.g. ASHRAE 62.1 2019.
When designing based on cross ventilation, the calculator will use a conservative wind direction by using a difference of wind pressure coefficient of 0.15.
